Sales of the week

For you Juicy Coutour obessed people who want to spend money on pointless crap that is now half off, I present to you the terrible looking brush set in a cute holder. Really who needs a feather duster in their makeup bag?
On sale from $78.00 to 49.00 at Sephora

Then their is also this adoreable ring. I love it, but I'm not paying that much for a ring with lipgloss that barley shows up!On sale from $68.00 to 34.00. at Sephora
Urgh, I want it but my wallet doesn't!!

For you J-fashion freaks, Maurione - a store that sells popular lolita and Jfashion brands to Overseas customers has some sales on its overpriced stock.

My favourite pick is this Valentine's High Cardigan as it's actually a decent price.

Best part is the back is a smiley face

On sale from $98.29 to 22.09 Here

The one thing I really wanted though was this adoreable super lovers dress. I just don't have the money for it though.

On sale from $93.87 to 65.71 here

Lastly is this ADOREABLE ru jeans x crash hello kitty limited tee. I want it becuase it's hello kitty, makeup and j-fashion! Whats better?!

Temptu at Sephora

So clearly Sephora has realized makeup junkies will pay almost anything to get good results. They've also realized their is a lot of friggen makeup junkies out their as every girl wants to look perfect, no?
This product kind of pisses me off but probably only because I want it and can't afford it/children in Africa are starving. Anyways, one of the most well known airbrush companies Temptu is selling a personal airbrush machine for $225.00 American. It wouldn't be such a bad price if the foundation's weren't $53.00 each. They come with two foundation pods for that price but I read it still only lasts for about two months? Then if you want to purchase their blush and highlighter their around $30-35.00 a pod and I doubt they last too long either.
It's of course interesting but I don't think that its a miracle product, especially for the price. Then again maybe after I try it out I may change my mind.. Who knows!

Nail art photos

So me and Marie decided to get our nails done at a scary/evil nail place the other day. I got acyrilics so I could play with them at home and Marie just got a manicure with a pretty color from China Polish. I wanted baby pink tips but trying to tell the lady doing my nails I wanted pink was hard/angered her enough. Oh well! Work with what you've got no?
Of course I can't leave them looking pretty. I decided five minuets later in Walmart they had to be more sparkly and in true gal style painted my nails right in the store with a coat of glitter. Then I blinged them out to make them look more like they were out of Nailup. Just goes to show, I'll never be happy till I get real 3D nails done!

I'm obessed with this Japanese magazine called Ageha right now. The models all have blonde, big curly hair and fake eyelashes. The covers are always covered in glitter like this. I want to be one!

Its funny becuase I like it but at the same time I don't. Takes getting used to I guess~!

Crazy News article

As for a wtf moment, a teacher in Japan got a salary cut for putting chalk in a kids mouth. Seriously?! My teacher in grade 3 used to throw chalk at us when we wouldn't be quiet, along with rulers and any objects she could find. She almost got fired too, but chalk in someones mouth is just werid!

Purikura with Dave and Kathy

After our essensity event me and Kathy ended up in china town where we met up with dave.
We also went shopping in Kengsington at my favourite store.
I hate how I'm like molesting the clothes here. Typical me.

Rejection! Odd photo much? I love the bow headband I bought, I think it looks so cute on. I have an obession with buying bows for my hair. I've bought like 6 this month.
We got some ghetto purikura photos done.
The frames are so bad but their still fun to get. Photos with friends are just needed.
Although these turned out kind of terrifying.

I look insane and dave looks like a creep

Essenity Hair Event / product review and good products for thick curly hair

I got an invite to a salon to preview a new line of products called Essensity by Schwarzkopf Professional. The lines selling point is it is all natural and and organic based. It was a fun day! I got to go get my hair washed and styled which is always a nice treat. I brought along my friend Kathy who also got her hair done. They also had somebody from Yves Rocher doing makeup touch ups. She put on a really pretty bronzer. It was a really metallic shiny finished and reminded me of the MAC Mineralize blushes. They come with a pressed powder that seems terribly crappy. We got a pink one in our sample bags along with lipgloss.

The products smelt great, the smell wasn't overpowering like some hair products. Overall I think it was a great product line, but defiantly not somebody with hair like mine. My hair isn't terribly damaged but it's still very bleached and needs repair. I naturally have very course, thick and wavy hair and even their repair/moisture conditioner couldn't cut it for me. I could tell when I felt my hair that it wasn't going to turn out the best and that was because I need stronger products. I think somebody with hair like mine needs something very heavy duty all the time. The styling balm used on my hair was just too sticky and made it feel pretty terrible for the rest of the day. I also got a lot of tangles which is something I normally don't get. My recommendations for people with hair like myself are Ion hair care repair masques and conditioners from Sallys, 3 minuet miracle by Aussie and if you really want to go organic then American Creme by Lush.

My friend Kathy on the other hand, has fairly damaged Asian hair and the products seemed to work very well for her. I think Essensity is a great line for people with naturally straight hair and it smells so good! Kathy's hair looked great, didn't take too long to style and let her style to have some volume. Hair products are really like skin care, you have to find what works best for you!

Nordstorm's Twilight Clothing Collection

According to InStyle, Nordstom is Twilight New Moon clothing collection. The collection is set to have Tops, Dresses, Jewerly and even Keychains. So basically anything that you can wear they are trying to sell! Atleast the tops don't look that bad or dorky. The yellow one looks kinda cute!
The collection is set to launch in October.

Video Game Shoes by Brass Monki

How awesome are these pikachu shoes? Daniel Reese is a shoe customizer under the name Brass Monki. He's started a blog with some of his awesome new ideas. He's currently taking requests for video game shoe prototypes. Also,if you contact him he's willing to make them. Who knows for how much though! I'd kill for a pair of these but obviously they'd be way out of my non existent price range. Go vote on which shoes you want him to make as he's only going to be producing 5 pairs until he opens his store. I'm excited to see more of this guy! Check out the rest of his crazy, awesome designs here.

These are my favourite so far! They would make an outfit SOO sick!

Isn't it beautiful? It would totally work for me! I want to see the inside of this place! I'm kinda Hello Kitty crazy all of a sudden

Lady Gaga and Koda Kumi Vivi scan

Here's Lady Gaga and Koda Kumi (one of my fav Jpop stars) in the popular Japanese fashion magazine Vivi. Gaga looks so werid here and that outfit defiantly isn't working for me! She looks so awkward next to Kumi! Also, I find it odd Gaga's such a repeat outfit offender. I see her wear a lot of clothes way more then once. For a celeb who's famous for fashion that's a no-no, isn't it?

Women attempts Plastic Surgery By Herself

A women attempted to inject her lips with silicone she ordered online. It turned out to be a personal lubercaint and not medical grade silicone. Needless to say it didn't turn out well! Clip at Jezebel.

Oh no, I wonder if this will be the future of DIY youtubers once they find a safer way. Hey, people now do extensions, eyelash extensions and chemical peels themselves (and god knows what else) Its only a matter of time.

Twilight Show to Premier on making of film

In my recent experience, whenever the word Twilight is spoken the word EW is the most common reaction to follow. While I'm not against the movie, I'm not a particularly huge fan of it either. (I did love the books, but the movie not so much). I myself have spent my teenage years in an odd poisition. I'm not in with the in croud and too aware of whats going on to be part of the social outcasts who live in completly different universes. I do understand the world of obession as I used to love anime when I was younger. (I still do, just not on the same level) The only person I know who is obsessed with Twilight happens to be a spot on definiton for the word clueless social outcast at my school. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy the girl has something she's so in love with but it makes me wonder. Is the Twilight craze only popular and accepted in teenage girls who are considered outcasts? Although that may be the sterotype, it's hard too beleive that such a small population targeted franchise could gain as much media hype and money as it has. That or theirs just too many girls in highschool who don't want to be their. Regardless, there seems to be no end in the future with a show set to premier on ReelzChannel about the filming of the film.

Back to what I know

Today I took my first dance class with a private instructor I found on Craigslist. He was great! I learned the end choreography for the Michael Jackson song, The Way You Make Me Feel. Honestly, dancing like MJ is like its own genre of dance. I wasn't used to it at all! My goal is to get really good at dancing so I can go be a popstar in asia. (Or you know bring the whole popstar thing back to North America!) I love dancing, its replacing the hole cheerleading is leaving me for now and can be career helpful in some way. I've really realized this week how much I have to boost my game up if I want a career. I'm going to attempt to work my butt off from now on with no excuses! I'm doing vocal lessons Thursday and paying the dreaded $80.00 per hour fee. Goodbye clothes! Please offer me blog jobs people. I need them!

I'm going to try and sell some makeup and clothes online!!!

Here's another picture from the photoshoot I did with Nicole last week.

Heres me with my new guitar I need to learn how to play. I have so much to do and I'm so lazy.
Urgh! Motivation find me please! Atleast I've taken the first steps right?

L'Oreals New professional line

Check out L'Oreals new "professional line" launched recently in Paris. No word on if this is coming to North American yet but the products do look interesting.
The collection includes face primers, concealers, foundations, eyeliners and powders.
They really look like Makeup Forevers products! Sadly they are just as expensive as other high end lines, coming in at 18€! ($24 american!).

Forever 21 to Launch Makeup Line

According to Yahoo's Shine blog, Forever 21 is set to venture into the world of cosmetics this fall. No word yet on when or if Canada will be carrying the line. The line is inspired by established high end makeup lines such as YSL and Mac.

The reactions from the makeup communtie have been mixed. Forever 21 is known for purchasing their clothes from really shady manufacturers and having terrible quality. If their clothes are making people break out I hate to imagine what their makeup could do! Hopefully it'll be awesome but only time will tell. What ever happened to HnM's big makeup line launch? I never heard anything about it after I heard they were launching a line. I'm almost positive its not available in Canada and I think I would have heard more about it if it was available in America.
Weird no?

Noxzema Triple Clean Astringent - A Holy Grail product?

According to the reviewds on MakeupAlley.com almost everybody who tried this under $4.00 product is in love. Are the reviews what their all hyped up to be? I'm dying to try it but can't seem to find it. None of the Shoppers Drugmarts here sell them, I'm wondering if Wal-Mart or somewhere else does?
I'm so excited too!!

Because I haven't posted any in awhile
Not sure about the pose here but they turned out much better then I thought. I can't wait to see more from them!

The World's Best Makeup Remover + Cleanser Clean and Clear Makeup Disolving Foam Cleanser

Honestly, I hate face products and usually avoid them. Everything makes me break out! This month my skin has gone out of whack and I'm desperate to try and help it even though I'm scared. I have terrible combo skin that freaks at mostly everything and I'm extremely sensitive to moisturizer. I also have the constant problem of leaving my makeup on when I go to sleep. Now that I found this amazing product though, I'll have no exuse. Here's the description from the website

HIGHLIGHTS
- Lifts away dirt, oil, and even waterproof makeup, without leaving behind an oily residue.
- Gentle enough for daily use.
- Rich lathering foam that won't over-dry skin.

WHAT'S IMPORTANT
Some soaps can over-dry your skin. New CLEAN & CLEAR® Makeup Dissolving Foaming Cleanser has a rich lathering foam that gently lifts away dirt and makeup without leaving an oily residue. This oil-free formula is gentle enough for daily use.

Not only does this product remove makeup amazingly, its also a great cleanser that actually made my skin feel really fresh and great. Another advantage is the price point and availability, I picked this up for around $8.00 at Wal-Mart. Unlike the uber expensive Lancome makeup remover I seem to have so many free samples of laying around, this remover leaves no slimy residue on the skin and is Oil-free. This is great for sensitive skin.
I totally give this product 5/5. I was blown away! If it starts breaking me out though I'll be sure to post!

my latest Deco, shopping and Fairy Drops Mascara review

Yesterday I went to the zoo. I also got very sick. I am still sick. I hate living with this.
Heres some stuff I've been meaning to post!

First up is my magically blackberry. I'm obessed with deco right now and I'm proud of my work! The big heart and chain were put on by me as well as the flower but the rest was put on with a deco sheet I cut up. Next to do: Bigger and better cellphone charms!
This picture doesn't do it justice.

Its my baby. I didnt really do anything to the front though becuase how uncomfortable would that be for talking? I use my baby too much for that!

Next up was my ebay purchase. I got Platinum Fairy Drops Mascara on ebay for something ridiculasly cheap! I won it for like a dollar but shipping was sadly $13.50 for some reason. Much like the reviews I was pretty disapointed. The brush is amazing at seperating lashes but the actual formula of the mascara is where this product totally lacks. It's just not thick enough to give the faux lash look most girls crave. I think when I'm done with the tube im going to try the mascara wand with my favourite mascara L'Oreal's Voluminous. Fairy drops is worth having if just for bottem lashes. The packaging is the best part for sure. It comes pre-blinged with a pink rhinestone on the top and a pretty silver decorated tube with pink drawings. This mascara is perfect for my deco/hime(princess) phase I'm going through.

Unopened

The special brush!

Lastly! Heres the cute Barbie by Patrica Field earrings I purchased for $50.00. (I got them in a boutique but their cheaper online if you don't factor in price conversion to Canadain and shipping. I love them though! I wan't to start a Barbie jewerly collection.

Tarina Tarantino Wizard of Oz Line

Kelly Ozbourne was one of the models for Tarina's new Wizard of Oz line. The pictures are pretty amazing for a jewerly line! I did however think that some of them didn't do to well at the whole advertising point. You can check the rest of them here on Nylon's website. I'm not excited for this line as I was for her others. What about you guys?

What Boa's Wearing

I was browsing allkpop.com today and was checking Boa's San Fransico Pride Performance Post. I noticed she was wearing the earrings I wanted! They must be the ones from Hello Drama. (A band started by two scene models. Their also vault girls which is something I'm kinda a part of .) I was thinking of buying them last night so I found it funny Boa was wearing them. I didn't think their line was really that known and was just something they kinda did online? Oh well it's cool to see two girls who are so mutli-talented doing everything on their own. I deffinatly will probly be purchasing these, although I do feel bad paying $38.00 for a peice of plastic. (Not that that stopped me last week from buying $50.00 barbie earrings.)

Style Invasion Interview

Yes, I have been neglecting this blog again but with good reason!
I don't really want to talk about stuff before it happens but the point is I'm trying to work on music stuff with some big people! I'm excited and terrified. This next month is basically a test to see if I'm good to work with. I also got eleven free cd's of some of my favourite artists so I'm quite happy about that!

Anyways! Here's and interview I did with Style Invasion. I'm defiantly not used to interviews and I think I look a little retarded in the picture. I really need to stop caring! Its the experience that counts!

Yesterday I started trying to majorly clean through my room. I threw out 5 bags of garbage and I'm nowhere near done. This I should also mention is the house I hardly live at. Argh!!
My parents have been terrible and I'm stuck here until my grandparents get back from their trip. It's so frustrating, I tried so hard this last month to have a better relationship with them but nothing I do matters. They just always screw me over in the end.
