SOO!!! Friday was an adventure! I went to see Down With Webster at their sold out show in the sound academy. It's all been pretty crazy. I went with Sarah and her boyfriend Pat. Our friend and producer James was playing guitar.
So as we were going in the guy asked for our ID for the guestlist. I'm an idiot and told him I didn't have one because I'm 18 so me and Sarah were not allowed in the VIP area. This was displeasing to say the least. Especially after the show when all our friends were partying up there and we were stuck waiting for them.
Another interesting part of the night was how Sarah looked like she was dressed up to go out for a fancy dinner and had flip flops on. DWW concerts are crazyyy, you definably do not want to be moshing in high heeled flipflops. Regardless I dragged her into the crowd.
During our journey to the front of the stage, we had many memorable encounters. These included almost getting my hair lit on fire by a guy smoking a joint, being pushed into a group of girls so wasted they weren't speaking English and almost turning around and punching a Latina chick who was beyond viciously pushing people. I honestly don't know how but somehow we actually managed to make it right to the front. On the way I also ran into random people I knew! Once we were at the front though we couldn't take it any longer and got pulled out by the security dudes. The guy literally picked me up by my shorts. Worst wedgie ever. It was crazy but so, so much fun!

So I've been trying not to buy random stuff I don't need lately which = less blogging. I have however caved recently! One of my favorite new purchases was just to damn cute to resist.
I was browsing through some accessory store owned by the people who own winners. (I can't remember for the life of me what its called). They've started to get a lot of random cosmetics. Most of it is gross and opened and if its not you'll probably be opening it to see what its like! If you rummage through it though you can find some awesome stuff.
I totally caved when I saw this cute little gloss set from Elizabeth Arden. I couldn't resist cute lip glosses in a metallic pink case! The three pink colors look quite similar in real life with one of them being noticeably lighter. They all seem to have a metallic frosty sheen to them. I'm not usually a fan of this but it's not too bad in these glosses. They defiantly don't look as matte as they do in the photos. The glosses are totally cute and they wear surprisingly long. This is awesome for summer. I'll defiantly be paying more attention to Elizabeth Arden from now on. The one thing I found kinda odd was the fact they have a pretty strong perfume scent to them. I'm also not thrilled by the small size of the glosses but I figure I might loose them before I use them up anyways.

Life is insane. I honestly don't even know what I have planned anymore. I just hope my plans remind me the day before or something! Mkay so what have I been doing..

When I was leaving these girls who looked like they were clubbing showed up. (This was a pool party). My friend then went up to one of them and asked her why she was dressed like a hooker. Crazy times. So much fun. I love spraying everybody with febreeze now.
This is kinda the most epic photo ever. I wish I wasn't in such an unflattering pose but whatever.

Its summer meaning you have free time! This month you can check out three fab photo contests on the photo contest website Lenzr. Who doesn't want to win prizes? Seriously, I want the blackberry. Don't enter that one because I plan on winning it. Go enter or at least check out and vote on the talented submissions. The winners are picked by the users so you can always get your friends to vote!
The first contest is called crowded places. Yes, it is as easy as it sounds. All you have to do is take a great photo of crouded places and submit it for votes. With g20, pride and everything else going on how can you NOT do this? Seriously, this month is beyond perfect for this contest. A really awesome Toronto web developer has generously donated a Blackberry curve as a prize. I totally entered, vote for me here if you love me aha. (NEW PHONE = BETTER BLOGGING FROM MOI!)
The next one totally sucks for me. I don't even want to look at it because it makes me jealous. I'm "apparently sorta" allergic to chocolate. I haven't really ate it since I was 10. (My stomach hates everything though). Not a day goes by I don't crave a caramilk bar or smarties or ANYTHING to do with my love of choco. (It's hard for me to listen to the snsd song Chocolate Love for this reason. I finally gave in two months after it came out.)
Seriously, if you try to eat chocolate around me I will knife you.

The last contest for this month is Portable Luxury. This ones a little odd but basically its just taking a cool picture of luxury items that can easily be moved. Whatever you would take with you if you had to leave the country. Basically you need some awesome story telling photo of what you would take with you if you had to leave home. As for me? I think my first priority is proper hair products and my straighter. It SUCKS having crazy, thick, frizzy afro hair.
The prize for this one is amazing, with a trip for two to Las Vegas. Sponsored generously by a portable toilet rentals company. The trip includes airfare and two nights stay. Seriously though, check that company's toilets. I would pee in them. I wish train washrooms would get pretty flowers.

Soooo Bamboozle was fun. I looked like crap though and wasn't really in the mood to party. We got there pretty late, I picked up my paycheck from work and my friends decided they needed a photo with all time low before we went. Ironically we happened to walk behind much music right as they were leaving.
LMFAO were awesome live, I wish they played later on though. They are totally a night time band. Third eye blind was also really sick! All Time Low was great, there really weren't that many people there (bad promotion much?). No one even heard of it except for the people who got free tickets. The band told everyone to go on the floor and we all ran like crazy to the floor which was fun. Then security tried to kick us back out when Boys Like Girls played last. We totally stayed.

Okay so Make It or Break It is seriously the best show ever. I LOVE IT. Remeber that awesome gymnastics movie stick it? Its just as great as that but better because its a tv show! I just finished watching all of season one and the premier of season 2 is apparently Monday, June 28th in America. Much music better be playing it that day or someone better upload it RIGHT AWAY online. Btw much music, please actually decently promote this in Canada. Thank you.
I AM DYING TO SEE THIS. I've started tumbling at least twice a week for the summer and watching this show is totally motivating. Honestly things have been a huge mess over the last two years and I'm trying to use tumbling and cheer to help me get motivated at things again. I have to stick to it this time. I'm slowly trying to figure out what my plan will be with music as well. I want to accomplish things. I will accomplish things.

I can't even imagine how they managed to write in gymnasts looking like popstars BUT ITS HOT. I am SOO excited. Seriously though, get me on this show. PLEASE PUT ME ON.

SOOO on a random late night adventure I decided to go swimming at my friends. I didn't have a bikini though and since we were passing walmart I figured I would go get a cheap one! Luckily they did have a cheap bikini for $5.00! It just happened to be the worlds ugliest thing EVER. It's like if Miley Cyrus and a trailer park collaborated on a clothing line.

Summer is the season of SHOPPING! It can be hard to find stylish clothes that work with the heat. I haven't been shopping much lately but Sex and the City 2 has me dying to go to a mall. Lately I'm dying for new music. My ipod is driving me crazy! One of my fav new songs is Two Different Tears by The Wondergirls. I totally need to find someone to go to their concert here in Toronto this summer.
If you get past the terrible music video, the song can really grow on you! To be honest, I was never really a fan of their song nobody.
Speaking of bad music, Paradiso Girl's "Whos My Bitch" is offically the worst song ever. This sounds like something a scene queen made on myspace with garageband five years ago. Who on earth thought this would make a good single!? Let alone an album track?
