Winter Lip Savers Burts Bees Reviews

Posted on 15:46 by Unknown
I'm totally anti chapstick. I find most of them leave my lips drier and in more pain after it rubs off. I was glad to find two products that seem too not have that affect! Burts Bees is actually very awesome in the lip category. I had heard they were good before but it wasn't until I really tested it out that I now believe the hype!

The beeswax lip balm is great! It's defiantly helped my lips from being chapped to death. It has a minty cooling sensation that hurting lips will probably appreciate. The only problem I had with it was I received the tin forum. Not being a big fan of getting product chunks stuck in my nails and or dirty fingers when I'm out, I put my lips right in the pot.

Another great product for lips that I find really moisturizing is the lip shimmers. They are really surprisingly pigmented and shimmery. They are amazingly moisturizing but ironically I haven't been thrilled with the two colors I have tried. Make sure you can find testers before you buy them! The brown I was sent was much too dark for me and before that I had bought a purple/pink that looks like a color from disturbing childhood makeup. Find a good color though becuase I reach for this stuff regardless!

Note: these two products were sent to be by the company for testing.

Guns n Roses! Dara from 2ne1 look!

Posted on 14:27 by Unknown
Like always I've been failing at updating. This week I was actually up to something pretty interesting! I got free tickets and after show passes to the Guns n Roses concert. It was a great break from the hell of moving and my parents being over all terrible people. I wasn't a huge GnR fan and didn't know all of the songs. I did love Sweet Child of Mine and Paradise City from my grade 8 band days. I was excited just to be back near rock music. Too much Korean pop music has called for a little break (sadly this will probably make me even more confused on my WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO I SING? issue.) I wasn't expecting much but they were amazing! The concert was also extremely great in part too who we were sitting near. My gal friend Jo and I made friends with these crazy 20 year old guys in front of us. We then has the entertaining experience of sitting near an extremely drugged? large and loud man. Not only was his dancing AMAZING but more then half of the ENTIRE concert he shouted "AXEL I LOVE YOU" without end. His obnoxious behavior wasn't very entertaining to the skinny tall lady in front of him who kept shouting "SHUT THE FK UP! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LISTEN TO THE MUSIC LIKE EVERYONE ELSE YOU LITTLE BITCH". It was interesting to hear him shout "I LOVE AXEL" over all her screaming. He then offered her weed which she furiously declined. The less entertaining of his behavior was before the show when he asked me "where the boobs are" and kept shrugging and suggesting I take my top off. The people around me were quite amused when i kept shouting "I AM 17. I AM UNDERAGE, SHUT UP".
I should also note in GnR style, we waited two hours between their opening band for them to go on stage. We got home at like 3:30, so we didn't stage at the aftershow thing long.

After show areas are just freaking uncomfortable. Its just so awkward and unrockstar like! We did get a pic with Dj Ashba though! He seemed really nice and actually talked to everyone. He also has the cutest smile onstage.

GnR and all classic rock I will never look at the same! Btw: I totally dressed like dara from 2ne1 in her Kiss video. Bahah, I love my glad news pants!

Skin MD Natural Shielding Loition Review

Posted on 17:13 by Unknown

I received quite an interesting product from Skin MD to test out. They sent me their Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion. Unlike most lotions that just add moisture to the top of the skin using lanolin or petroleum, this product claims to work with the skin. I have found other moisturizers don't work in the long run and make skin drier so I had given up on most of them. This product gave me hope, any company trying something new is worth trying out.

I was pretty happy with this product. I find that it lives up to its claims, it just can be harder to get adjusted to it as you will probably be used to slapping on some greasy creams. Its formula is light and almost milky. I don't have extremely dry skin but in the winter my legs become horribly itchy (after shaving its TERRIBLE). Luckily I just throw this stuff on after my shower and my problem is solved! So I defiantly would recommend this product! I may be no expert in moisturizers but this product has improved my life. My only complaint is that the bottle isn't very big as you tend to use a fair amount (maybe they sell bigger bottles?). I still think you should try this product out though! Goodbye winter itchy legs that kept me up all night!

I should also note this could be a miracle product for people suffering from eczema and other skin conditions. I don't have eczema so I can't offer a review for it but I'm going to test it out on my boyfriends terribly chapped hands. I'm also going to try it out on my face, something I was scared to do as EVERY moisturizer makes me break out. It worked so well on my legs though that maybe it will do some good on my face too! Check out the website too see how crazy versitile this product is at skinmdnatural.com

Just Another Shocking Day in a Studio and an Outfit!

Posted on 12:38 by Unknown
Yesterday was quite an interesting day. Lately I've just been meeting up with tons of music people. Its gotten to a point where I don't even try to figure out what on earth they've done before or are doing now. It all just blurs together in the end! Ironically, the ones I was actually excited too meet were worth being excited for! I met up with two producers who are probably godly. After hearing the stuff they made yesterday I think they could be 2nd best to my producer love Teddy. (Yes, I'm talking about YG Teddy). Anyways, I really had no clue what I was getting into. Then as their driver picked me up, he told me they made one of my favorite Britney Spears songs from her last album. No big deal right? UHSADUISAHDUAIDHSIUAHAIUSD. Then after meeting them I was excited at the fact they were young, cool and actually awesome people! Rare for the music industry. They played me some of the stuff they had just made and I think I kind of died. I NEED TO WORK WITH THEM. They then tried to get me to write to one of their tracks. This was like kinda crazy for me. As much as I like writing lyrics I'm pretty useless to writing to a pre made track. I think I did pretty decent for well, someone who has no clue what their doing. I really want to learn anyways so I don't mind. It got kind of brutal trying to write though because I WAS SO HUNGRY. I hadn't ate that day and barley ate the day before. I could feel myself getting weak and kept blanking out. I was trying really hard to keep it together though! It just got increasingly worse throughout the day. They dropped me off at Young and Dundas so I could meet my boyfriend. I was really scared of passing out at this point and I'm glad I went to see him. I couldn't walk straight and I was slurring my words. Thankfully he got me on the go train and made me call my lovely best friend Jo who kept me conscious on the go train home. I then gouged on McDonalds and currently feel like crap.

This is my Gyaru Dork Look. Not the best photo of me but I liked the outfit.

Dress: Mars
Stockings: La Vie en Rose
Hair Bow: Claires
Glasses: The lovely photographer Dani's!
Shoes: Dani's but from Guess

Photobucket

I'm also quite proud that I handed in three essays this week and an assignment. That's all it takes to get half of an English credit when your doing independent learning. It's so much easier then actually having to go to school for a half of a year. The essays do kill me though and now that I'm on to the Shakespeare part, reading that alone will be hard.

I now have to go get my butt in gear and take the braids I had in my hair out so I can do my roots. Something I'm not looking forward too as I have barley any toner left. I also need to find time to pack up my room at my parents house as they are moving Wednesday. Sigh.

Random Japanese Hauls.

Posted on 22:39 by Unknown
I HATE ESSAYS.
Well you can guess what I've been doing. Anyways thought I would make a quick post of the amazing Japanese stuff I got in the mail!

MY TSUJI NOZOMI KITTY STUFF CAME IN THE MAIL! SO EXCITED. I'm a huge Tsuji fan! Of course this stems from my hello project love and who didn't love W? I admit I'm STILL having a hard time accepting her as a mom. Its unreal to me.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to scrap my current phone deco, get a new case and put the Tsuji sticker and do a Hime Theme. I'm quite excited! Artbeads.com is having an amazing rhinestone sale right now if your interested in getting some crystals.

My next exciting shipment was my Cheer Fuku bag. Well I kinda knew what I was getting so I don't know if it counts really. It was a pretty sick deal considering a cheer shirt can run for about $60.00 and a hat for $40.00. I got that and the things in the photo for $60.00 (then add the thirty dollar shipping though . Fml.)

I'll try to post something more interesting tomorrow!

Some Fashion Inspiration

Posted on 13:18 by Unknown
I came across these photos of amazing dresses by Setareh Mohtarez. I'm so impressed. As much as I'm sick of crazy avant garde style fashion, this designer has a way of making it unique as hell and still pretty. I have hope for high fashion again.

This is STUNNING.

Damaged Hair Alert, New Product I'm Loving!

Posted on 13:41 by Unknown
I went to Sally's to buy some hair dye and toner on my fight for the perfect blonde. While their I picked up a random conditioner as I felt like trying something new. Sally's sample packs are perfect for this. I also wanted something with Keratin in it as it seems to really make my damaged and thick hair soft and manageable. I am so grateful I picked up Aphogee's two minuet keratin re constructor. This stuff works great. I looked online and defiantly plan on picking up almost every product this line offers. I have heard nothing but great things from everyone. The whole line focuses on repairing damaged hair. If your hair is damaged at least try out the sample pack from Sally's and see if you like it! You will defiantly notice a difference over time to your damaged hair. You gyaru's really need to check out this line! Don't lie to yourself and think your hair isn't damaged! This was the pack I bought but they have full size bottles! Check out their website to see all their products.

New Years 2010

Posted on 22:28 by Unknown
Alright so finally here's my New Years Post! I ended up getting to spend it with Anselina, one of my best friends. I was supposed be with Azra as well but the party we went too with her was a little out of place for us so we went on a random adventure.

Here was the outfit without my cute new Parasuco sweater. I tried to do my hair more Gyaru with the twists but I failed with lack of curls. This is my new go to hair style for now. Its easy and looks cool without a lot of time and effort.

Anselina, Azra, Moi and her friend.

This is what me and Anselina`s relationship is like. I`m always going crazy while she just laughs. I love her to death and wish she didn`t go to school 3 hours away. Azra also goes to school far now but shes only about an hour drive.

So Anselina and Dave and I somehow wandered into my favourite karaoke place. I ended up singing the whole night and eventually scaring korean people by running into their rooms and singing korean songs with them as you can see from this youtube video. I wish I got the ones where I actually stayed in the room longer on tape!

It was quite a random night, what did you end up doing for New Years?

Some Gyaru Loving and Fukubukuro New Years Lucky Bags

Posted on 21:56 by Unknown
My Gyaru love is still going strong. I was looking through Nuts today and some other Japanese magazine and here were two of the rocker- kei looks I loveed!

I will never pick a gyaru style. I love them all.

With much influence from Miss Mitsu at Universal Doll, I got myself set on getting a Fukuburkuro. Fukuburkuro's are lucky bags that most brands release on New Years. They contain alot of moneys worth of clothing for a much cheaper price. They sell out majorly fast too. After searching forever on Rakuten I decided to order the Glad News one as it seems to be really popular. The ones I would have died for like the Liz Lisa and Delyle were no where to be found on rakuten. Although I doubt if I was in Japan I could even get myself a Liz Lisa one as they are so popular. I also got a cheaper Cheer one that showed the items you were getting. Its mostly just small accessory stuff but they have the uber cute knit cheer hats and I loveee Cheer stuff. I hope my order went through anyways, I entered the wrong billing address... Opps! Rakuten really bugs me as they send you all these emails in japanese after you order aswell. They leave me freaking out wondering if my order went through or not. With the whole english ordering system they really need a English follow up system! Anyways, wish me luck on the fukubukuro's! I can't wait to have some more authentic gal clothing! Although I have a feeling I'll be trying to sell it.

P.S. Can anyone tell me how this La Parfait Lucky Bag works? At least that's what I think it is.. I want some La Parfait stuff but I want to know what you get with them!

The Unglamours Life of a Possible Popstar

Posted on 14:59 by Unknown
So in my latest venture of musical related things, a manager named Entyce wanted to hook me up with producers Ryan and Dan. These guys happen to be majorly talented twins who have amazing voices. Besides being successful themselves they were in the band B4-4 who I listened too when I was younger! I love this song.

I wonder if current music videos will look that old in 6 years. Anyways, they are super talented and are currently doing Danny Fernandas' album. Hopefully I'll get too record with them soon as they are doing some really awesome stuff!

Getting to their house however was hell. We had to drive over an hour into the middle of forest land. In the city and suburbs their was no snow but there it was snowing like crazy. Not only that but their drive way was HUGEEE and a car was stuck at the beginning of it meaning we had too walk 15 minuets through ice-y hell! I was not expecting that! Not to mention I had to pee terribly bad! It was an interesting day for sure!

They also have the CUTEST teacup chiwawa named Coco. Heres a picture with Entyce, me and coco and Ryan. I am so in love with Coco it was so hard not to take her home!
