I really want to go to this but I have a photoshoot and will need to be downtown at 8:30 the next morning (don't know how thats going to happen)

Alternativly if your looking for a good time with the opposite sex, theres F*UCK at Zanobia on friday in Mississauga. Not that I can sujest this is a good idea. I heard the venues really small and alot of people are going. Maybe thats just becuase I've heard to many horrors of all ages clubs?

When the world doesn't want you to cheer

Man, Lifes been stressful. Sunday I totally walked out on cheerleading and am not going back. Sorry, but months of standing there and listening to girls talk about parties and hangovers isnt exactly what I'm giving up my time (or weekend) for. I could have gone to a makeup show that day! So now, I'm retardly frustrated and want to cry when I think of cheerleading but I guess I'll have to work it out somehow. Breath.

I haven't done much over the break, I hung out with Charlotte, Marie and Dave and took crazy pictures.

And I sewed a dress and a sailor-ish type outfits (I'm on top of trends ahah). The dress is actually wearable and normal! My mom was even shocked! The sailor outfit, not so much.

La Fille Mal Gardée

One thing I'm really excited to see is La Fille Mal Gardee, a playful ballet by Sir Frederick Ashton. While I may not be lucky enough to view it at the real theater, Empire Theaters is helping out us less fortunate socialites by offering screenings of viewings across Canada at 1 pm on January 31st, 2009.

This ballet centers around the story of a village love affair, with the charming Marianela Nunez and Carlos Acosta as the leads. This story is also well known for being based on a famous french painting of a young girl being scolded by her mother for fooling around in the hay with a boy. This is where one of the stories first names, "The Ballet of Straw" came from. Thankfully with a better name, the story has gained a reputation as a great introductory to getting into the world of The Oprah and Ballet. La Fille Mal Gardee is often considered to be Sir Frederick's happiest creation. Click here for the productions full synopsis.

Marie and Myself totally plan on dolling ourselves up in our most Gossip Girl worthy outfits to catch a viewing of it ourselves. Now the real question is where do we find some guys willing to live in our Gossip Girl fantasy world?

EXAMS ARE OVER!

Sorry about the lack of posts! I'm always the most last minuet person in the world and let my math and anthro exams almost kill me. Math didn't turn out so bad and Anthro was alot easier then I though but that doesn't mean I did well sadly. I'm totally hoping I did though. I don't even know what I have next semster but I'm not looking forward to English or the fact I wont have computer access two times a day. What the heck am I going to do! I will not survive.

Hmm now lets see, my weekend consits of..
Tomorrow I'm recording a song I should have been practising for weeks and haven't, oh that and I lost the lyrics me and my producer worked on for 4 hours! He's going to KILL me! I better remeber them and FAST.
Hosting a show Friday with the Ruca Girls,
and Sunday I have cheerleading then I think I'll have to rush to a photoshoot right after!
Fun. Okay, well it is but its STRESSFUL. I'm going to get more STOP DOING SO MUCH AT ONCE lectures.

Wrestle Mania

One of the fashion worlds secret overlooked influenced has defiantly got to be wrestlers. You might not agree with me at first, but the more you think about it the more it makes sense. First of all there hot, have amazing bodies and get to wear the most insane, flashy outfits only the daringest of fashionistas such as Lady Gaga and Beyonce are brave enough to wear. There signature shiny leotards are seen all over Hollywood lately (and on London Streets thanks to Miss Gaga). Perhaps wrestling has influenced our closets at home? Lady Gaga must be drawing some of her inspiration from them, she's even been rocking lighting bolts of makeup on her cheeks, which has totally been a wrestler fad. Then there is the obvious, her name would fit perfectly as one. Obviously though, in a celeb wrestling match Beyonce would kick everyones butt. I'm sensing a reality show concept here? Wrestling with the stars? It sure would be a lot more entertaining!

Here are my picks for wardrobe, which are now a closet necessity for any fashionista out there. I'm sure half of you already have some of this stuff as American apparel seems to rule every ones closets lately. Which I find funny as the place is a spandex haven almost dedicated to wrestling-escq performance wear. I suggest wearing them (not all at once please.) and going out with your friends to see the new movie, The Wrestler . It won two golden globes and has gotten great reviews. Make sure you strut your stuff in crazy outfits like this though, confidence is key in pulling off a great outfit. Or you know, you could just do a crazy facebook photo shoot with a friend in it.

A crazy busy weekend

Oh boy, I'm exhausted! I haven't slept since like, Wednesday. I can't believe I'm awake and in class. So Thursday Kerry actually dragged me to pole dancing classes, the warm-ups were SO HARD. I don't know how I'm so out of shape when I cheer so often but oh well. It was fun though! Honestly, people don't realize how hard it is. A cool thing to note though is pole dancing is starting to become a competive sport where the participants are considered athletes and not strippers. I'm surprised that trend is just starting to catch on. To be honest I'm kind of confused as to how something as difficult as pole dancing ended up in strip clubs. Anyways, here's how busy my week was....

Thursday: got a weave done (Kill me), tanning, pole dancing classes
Friday: Meeting at lunch with Ian, downtown with friends - got home at 1
Saturday: 8:00 wake up, travel an hour and a half by transit to record downtown, movies, get home at 1
Sunday: Cheerleading then run to audition for High School Musical 2, got home at 12

I. Need. Sleep. Or at least a mental break. I think that would help more then anything. Recording was soo much fun. I was pretty dead but I still had a blast. We managed to get alot done too. We worked on the music and lyrics more then the vocals. The worst part is that I have to find a weekday to record and with exams I can't go anytime this week. Hopefully I'll be able to next week. My HSM2 Auditions went TERRIBLE! I decided to switch my song last minuet and I totally could NOT sing the chours for the song I choose. I defiantly should have known better. It was so embarrassing. When I think about it I really just want to cry but thats not going to make anything better. Even worse was that I knew so many people there and they were all so experienced and professional. I swear, I feel like I'm the only singer out there who has an extremely difficult time picking a good auditon song. It always makes me just want to cry. Oh well, at least I got some experience right? The waiting room for the auditon was a blast too so I guess it was all worth it. I just wish I could have been Sharpay ahah! So yeah, I hope you guys have an awsome week. I can't wait to show you the song I'm working on though, its Hilarius!

I'm in comptech and sadly I'm really behind. I can't even get help today because my teachers busy. Cheerleading at Topflight has gotten to be wayy to much. I'm miserable there, I can't stand it. I feel like I'm doing nothing and its the worst feeling ever. Add that with the fact I am RETARDEDLY busy and I'm having mental breakdowns all over the place. My friends here aren't even my friends anymore and I feel more alone then ever. I defiantly need someone right now.

I'm also very proud to announce I FINALLY BOUGHT JEANS! Guess still had some really good jeans on sale. I got a pair of regular ones and premium ones. I love them both. The weridest part is I got SUCH a small size. Usually I wear like three sizes up from what I got.


Money.. I miss you already!! I am proud to say I managed to resist myself from buying any bras or underwear after being in Lasenza today! The pussycat dolls line was SCREAMING at me! YAY FOR MY 1% OF SELF CONTROL!

New years

I'm deffinatly never going to get my summative anthro/soc/psych project done. Oh well. I miss Jeremy, hes in Chile right now. Sucks having your best friends away, new years didn't feel right without him. Not seeing him in so long doesn't feel right either! I can't beleive schools starting again on Monday. Life is so much easier without it aha!

I never got to wish you guys a proper HAPPY NEW YEARS! Sorry about that! I spent three days downtown with my friend Liz visitng from St. Louis. For New Years Eve I rented out a karaoke room at one of my favourite places downtown. It was a blast! We showed up and there was smoke coming out of one of the rooms and firemen coming up the stairs. Way to start a chaotic night. Not only that but my reoccuring stomache problems of the past 4 years have gotten BAD again. I really hope they get better.. honestly its the worst thing to have to deal with. It's so scary. I'm going to focus on the fun though! I thought the only time I would get away with a sparkly pink tube dress from American Apperal was news years so naturally I had to wear it that night. (Myself, a monster and Liz)
Thank GOD I wore my cheerleading spankies under it as that thing rides up SOO fast! Its terrible! Back to the karaoke though! I was with Kerry, my only friend who sings japanese karaoke and does the dances with me and a bunch of other friends. Obviously me and Kerry hogged the machine all night becuase its just naturally what we sadly do.
We got the Korean machine and the English machines at the same time so we had more song choices. The Korean one actsually had some new Japanese songs so I was really excited about that. Me and Kerry had alot of fun singing D.D.D. By Koda Kumi and Soulhead. (Kerry with her scratched up knee)

It was one of our trademark songs and even Liz joined in! It really made me miss the way things used to be but what really can you do? At twelve me and Marie started running through the hall opening all the other peoples New Years rooms and screaming "HAPPY NEW YEARS!" and hugging all the people in the rooms. It was so fun! Then alot of them started joining onto our train of maddess. We made our way down to the last hall where we walked into a scene from Tokyo Drift. There were like 50 asain's in suits, gambling, drinking and smoking which deffinatly isn't allowed lmao. So that was pretty crazy. I had a hard time dragging Marie out of there!

Toronto is crazy on New Years though, I love it. The drunk people are so friendly to one another and there is just chaos everywhere. By the subway I saw a group of adults playing a game of ring around the rosie and others starting a mosh pitt. Chaos. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm really hopeing for big things this year and I've got a good feeling about it too. So goodluck guys! You have a whole new year to work towards your dreams!

La Ligne De Chanel, shadow eyeliner duo

Oh my god! My last post was my 300th and I didn't even notice!
anyways!!
I'm really intrigued by Chanels new duo liner shadow kit, La Ligne de Chanel. It comes with a matte and shimmer black shadow and small liner brushes. I really like the idea of this becuase I find it alot easier to line with wet shadows then liquids and still acheive the same effect. The reason I'm so interested in this pallate is I haven't seen a company come out with a powder shadow pallate specifically for lineing. I love how it could also be used for smokey eyes. I'm deffinatly not a fan of pencil liners as I get the worst panda eyes EVER. Speaking of that, I can't find my revlon liquid liner so I'm running around with eyeliner smudged all the way down my stupid cheeks! Not fun! I'll be sure to get back to you guys when I get a chance to test this out!
