Some Holiday Spirit

Tay Zonday, the guy who did that chocolate rain song recorded his own version of "You're a mean one Mr.Grinch". This kid is seriously talented even though its so bizarre. He then oddly rants about what he think the song is about.

Shu Uemura Goodies

Posted on 13:04 by Unknown
So I received my package of Shu Uemura goodies I got in return for working their event.
I got a lovely eye cream, a facecream, a tsumori chiasto mirror, brush set and a palate.

The mirror is quite cute but I don't think they sold it in stores. Maybe I can sell it on ebay! (My wallet is currently in the hospital)
Here's the uber cute brush set. Shu brushes are crazy high quality so they should be fun to use. I love eyeshadow brushes with lots of control.
And finally the Shu palette. My favourite thing about it is the outside of it. So cute. I like the purple-ish color next to the gold too. Oh how I want more Shu eyeshadow.

VO5 Hot Oil Treatment Review

Posted on 17:45 by Unknown
If you look up reviews for VO5's famous hot oil treatments you will get a 50/50 tie on if this stuff is a miracle product or if its terrible. I read a few pages of reviews and it defiantly left me curious. I wondered if this could be a miracle product for my damaged, untameable curly and frizzy hair.

Another thing to consider with the reviews is their are so many different hot oil treatments by VO5 that end up just getting classified as the same product. They may be different. I choose the strengthing from the selection of the photos below. The package contains 3 hot oil treatments and I got them on sale for about $3.00 CDN. Even if it turned out to be crap I didn't feel like I was wasting my money. I should point out that they offer a single hot oil treatment for around $7.00. The packages however don't really provide that much information on the differences.

I followed the directions keeping the hot oil on for 2 minuets (even though it says only up to one) and shampooed. At this point I wasn't thrilled. My hair felt brittle and dry so I loaded on some deep conditioner. When I blow dried it I still noticed it still felt a little odd and brittle. I was almost convinced it was a crap product until my mom started telling me my hair really did look alot healthier. In a sense I think this works a bit like a hair constructor that "glues" your hair back together when its really damaged. I'm quite pleased! I used it again last night and although I haven't taken it out of the crazy looking bun on the top of my head I think it helped. After I shampooed this time my hair was left silky and soft which was a surprise I don't usually experience after shampooing! I wouldn't recommend this for thin hair because it would probably be to heavy. For devil manes like myself though I think this is an amazing product with trying with an open mind. If you hair is really damaged its deffintly a better price tag then buying the Nexxus Emergencee Constructor for $50.00. Although if your hair is REALLY bad I would buy the Nexxus stuff fast! P.S. I would use conditioner with hot oils to try and restore some moisture and get rid of the brittle feeling!

MY BLOG IS ALMOST READABLE AGAIN!

Posted on 16:57 by Unknown

YESS!! If your eyes are reading this they are probably thanking you right now. My messy work in progress blog is looking a lot better. Thanks to my talented friend Sean Sherdian for making me a top banner.

I posted a picture from a photoshoot. It was at this amazing apartment downtown the photographer lived out. The back balcony/ roof area was amazing. It had all these different levels and crazy ghetto stairs. I thought I was going to fall off in my boots for sure. It would have been an amazing place to host a summer party. A sober one though as I'm sure that would be a drunken death disaster. In the middle of the shoot I grabbed a notebook and just started writing. I wish I lived their, I would be so much more inspired. The internet has really been killing me for inspiration. I've come to a point where I don't even let myself think. If I have even a free moment I'm quickly on my blackberry going on MLIA. How do I let myself get back into my thoughts?

Why I love Nars

Posted on 18:05 by Unknown
If I had to pick one makeup brand to use for the rest of my life I would without a doubt choose Nars. Now I realize every makeup line has its strong points but I find Nars as a whole to be one of the strongest brands. Why might you ask? Besides the amazing pigment quality, Nars goes above and beyond with every single color. Every brand I can think of only has a limited number of stand out eyeshadows. Looking for colors in MAC when I want to try something new usually leaves me feeling hopeless and bored. With Nars I can look at any color and instantly fall in love. Even if you aren't a fan of a certain shade Nars will make you love something about it. I also have to mention how unique and fun the shades are. Thank you for making creativity chic. Besides the amazing shadows the blush is as good as you have heard. Honestly, I'm not really a fan of orgasm. Although I wear it and like it, I wish more light was shone on the rest of the shades. They seriously have a blush to make everyone look perfect. Just love. Although this post sounds like I work for them I just really think more people should get into them! They really do try hard to be the best they can. If you check out the multiples you'll notice they have a new formula for the newer ones just to improve on the already amazing product. They've also reformulated the foundations and mascaras.
I just wanted to say happy birthday nars on 15 years! Your only two years younger then me! Thank you for getting me through my breakups since I was 13. I only hope that you eventually send me products to review for my years of loyalty.

P.S. check out the book 15x15 that Nars released for the fifteenth anniversary. The chic book has pics of 15 celebs in Nars makeup with proceeds going to charity.

(Santa please bring me a Nars 15 pallate for xmas?)

My day as a Shu Uemura Harajuku girl in Holt Renfrew

Posted on 19:57 by Unknown
Its pretty amazing what you can find on Craigslist.
I've managed to find several interesting things on that crazy website including getting myself in the Mtv commercial inserts (I'm the blonde texting), a disastrous hair extension experience, a kick ass producer and a boyfriend of over a year ( I met him as a band mate, I wouldn't touch the personals section with a 20 foot pole.) You really never know what you can find on there (proven by yousuckatcraigslist.com). My latest Craigslist venture happened to be quite awesome! I scored a random job dressing up as a Harajuku girl to help promote the Shu Uemura Lash Event.

I totally wish I had a picture of my outfit! I wore a cute Sweet Lolita outfit, it was the first time I ever actually dressed proper lolita. I was starting to think I would never get a chance to wear the dress but I did! Probably in the last place I would want to though. I like to keep my freak/crazy fashion side as far away from my I love expensive rich people clothes as possible. Mixing the two extremes made me feel a bit uncomfortable to say the least.
(Shu's pretty counter)
The event itself was really fun, they had the very talented and stylish principal makeup artist Taca Ozawa doing crazy makeup and hair on a model as well as the equally awesome and talented Rocco Commisso drawing people as manga characters. Honestly, I was shocked at how quickly he can draw amazing pictures. He has talent! The makeup artists were extremely busy giving makeovers while selling and applying lashes. I thought it was cool to see what working the only retail job I have ever wanted would be like. I must say, I still do want a job at Holts! Working for a great line like Shu Uemura would be great. I also really enjoyed getting more familiar with their products. They have CRAZY lashes! Even though I haven't looked into the makeup forever lashes too much I'm much more impressed by Shu's. The eyeshadows are also defiantly worth looking into. I was really in love with a matte blue color. I think with a line like Shu, you should ask the makeup artists for some looks and advice to really get the lines full potential. Although I wasn't paid in desperately needed money, I'm going to be receiving some Shu goodies in the mail. I can't wait!

So even though I didn't get any pictures in my crazy outfit, I stole this one from when I was on my way out from Rocco. I look like hell from 10 hours of work and two hours of sleep the night before but at least you can see some of the great pictures Rocco drew! I would also recommend checking Holt Renfrew's website to see the great events they always have going on. If your attending a cosmetics event I would recommend booking ahead of time. I'll post pictures of my makeup when I get it!

Warranty Elephant - Great free service for keeping track

Posted on 15:33 by Unknown

How many times have you lost your warranties or completely forgotten about when they expire? I hate having pieces of paper that are important. They are just bound to go missing! I can't even keep track of my shoes (Seriously, I recently lost a seven inch heel in my room. I have no hope of keeping track of papers).

Being a teenage girl, my cameras and cell phones have habits of breaking all the time. I defiantly need to keep my warranties safe.

I recently came across Warranty Elephant, a free service that lets you store your warranty information online. The info is stored and listed by date of warranty expiration. You can store all the information you need on your product in your account. The websites so great you can even upload scans of your warranties to your account!

The service goes above and beyond by sending you reminders of three months, one month and a week before your warranty expires to make sure the item is in working condition.

I love innovative websites like this. If you know any other helpful sites like this post them in the comments!

Photoshoot with Kerry

Posted on 11:29 by Unknown
This week I have done a massive amount of photoshoots.
Okay I did three and had to cancel one but THEY ARE EXAUSTING! I'll be posting pictures and stories from them on here!

Here is from the first one I did! I shot with a photographer who is a friend of my friend Kerry. It was nice because Kerry was also their so we had a lot of fun. I took a few photos with Kerry too, I hope I actually get to see one of them. I posted this photo because I look different which is kinda cool. I never have my hair up but I kinda like it here! If you notice a difference in my hair its because I got bangs again! They used to be my trademark style through my pre-teen years but then I guess I just got lazy. Of course now everyone is calling me Lady Gaga. At least she rocks. P.S you can buy the dress I'm wearing which I made at www.barbiewantstobeme.etsy.com

The shoot was fun but really tiring. After it I had to make my way to Yorkdale as I had planned on going to the JYP auditions but I was kinda late. I got to Yorkdale and called my friend who had been in line for hours and decided I was way to tired to try and find wherever on earth it was. I ended up shopping for ten minuets and dying on a bench with Dave.

Speaking of Lady Gaga, I realize I totally look like her here but I still think its a cool photo!

Youtube account and I Am Me

Posted on 11:18 by Unknown
Hello Lovers!
So I'm trying to make my youtube account a bit more active. I posted one of my songs and have a video blog I'll be posting later in the day. Please subscribe to it!

The video blog I did is on the Faze Supergirl I Am Me event. The thing was honestly a BLAST! I got the Vera Wang Princess perfume I've wanted for years now! It felt like Christmas! I also got to hangout with Imke and Dizzi, my two friends who live about an hour away. Even though it was probably only the second time we've actually hung out it felt like they were my best friends. Its hard to find people my age who go after their crazy ambitions, wear whatever it is they want and still manage to be just amazing people. Imke makes her own clothing and has her own store! Dizzi is great at photography and is always helping out Imke. For once I didn't feel out of the loop for having ambitions, something no one should have to feel.

Hair inspiration

Posted on 21:06 by Unknown
Hair inspiration is always needed. Enjoy my mostly Japanese picture hairspam for some ideas this week.
This girl has PERFECT HAIR. It just looks SOO CUTE! One of the only times I have loved hair that isn't really long. That bow is amazing, I'm going to make some for my etsy shop this week.

Raquel Reed just makes blue hair amazing. I want to dye my hair this color so bad. I'm doing pink soon! I must!

Makeup spam!
Lastly, another reason I wish I lived in Japan. They Hair-set places that just style hair. It costs around $30.00 and you get any amazing style like this one! Here it would cost about $70.00 at least and the stylists probably wouldn't have enough experience to do it the way you would want. Sigh. I am determined to get hair this awesome

The Makeup World in a Minuet

Posted on 20:00 by Unknown

-Forever 21s new makeup line looks like major crap. -If you still want to buy some of it at 10 % off code: Makeup10 will work until November 14- I think ELF looks like a better alternative for cheap makeup- Wet and Wild also can work for some things- Urban Decays' Friends and Family discount of a whopping 30% runs until November 20. Code: FNFW1.- Makeup Forever put out a collection of all its eyeliners in packaging that will surely appeal to your inner child. Sadly $249.00 for 25 eyeliners would have you saving up your allowance for a few years. Sephora is selling a lighted makeup stand for $998.00. It's a box with legs and six lights. I am outraged. COME ON.

Cheer japan fashion

Posted on 13:19 by Unknown
Oh life! Why are you so complicated?
I think I'm just going to take the semester off. I've been having total issues with depression and my heath since grade 7 and I just need time to get better. Of course this has caused my mom to go insane which is making me feel worse. I guess I will never find my inner chi! For now I need to focus on what I'm going to do about school, make my mother actually take me to vocal lessons and get some songs done as well as dance lessons and god knows what else.

In this weeks Japanese Fashion news, the magazine Nuts had a model wearing underwear from last years Pussycat dolls line for La Senza. I know this becuase I happen to own it. Odd, isn't it?

I also have a new favorite clothing line. Its called cheer. They even have a top that looks like an actually cheerleading uniform which I want if only for that reason. Although it doesn't look the best on the model I am determined to get it and make it work with jeans somehow. Just the international shipping could cost god knows how much and its 80.00 to start. Kinda a lot of money for something I don't know if I would like on. I feel like if I don't get this I will totally regret it for years however..
Cheer also has a huge love for lady gaga and just came out with a shirt of her. Odd!

Where I have been Plus my first M*ARS dress!

Posted on 15:07 by Unknown
Sorry I haven't been posting. My life has been a huge mess since school started, I still haven't figured out what to join out of school. I'm going through cheerleading withdrawl and its killing me but I feel like I should take dance because I could use it more in my career? That and I feel like I don't actually get to do much in cheerleading which just makes you feel worthless. I just want to put on a uniform and compete so bad though.. I haven't really been going to school because I just don't want to be their. I feel like I'm wasting my time and should be at a school with better courses and some actual extra circular actives. I seriously need a magical guidance fairy godmother to come and help me figure out what to do in my life.

On to some positives! I recorded a new song I put on my myspace. Its called lost boy and is probly the last of my really rock pop music. As much fun as it can be I don't think that's where my heart lies as a performer. I want to try some more dance-ish, mature stuff. Only to find a producer that will understand that!

I also need to get my rooms sorted out. I have BOATLOADS of clothes I will never wear and I don't know what to do with them. I really want to sell them and make some extra money but its alot harder to do then you think! I'm considering opening up my own store to get rid of them all!!

And on my quest to get an awesome wardrobe for Tokyo's famed 109 shopping stores, I purchased this dress last night!
I'm really excited to get it because I'm a new devoted fan of M*ARS clothes! I really wish Japanese gal clothing wasn't so hard to get a hold of

cheer life.

Posted on 15:46 by Unknown
Honestly, I'm failing at life.
I've been trying to make my way back into the world with crippling anxiety from a sickness and its not easy. I tried to motivate myself through getting cheerleading going at school this year again. If you read my blog last year you know how hard its been. This year has been so much extremly harder. Theirs a huge chance it wont even happen but I'm not taking no for an answer and I'm still working my butt off and fighting. I beleive in these girls and what we could do together. Were already so behind but I still want to try. I love them, even though there jerks.

Too make up for my lack of blogging watch this amazing japanese commerical i found on youtube.

Remeber, dont give up. The things you really want are never easy! The best stories are the ones that were hard as hell aren't they?

Hope for cell phone service in Canada

Posted on 20:08 by Unknown
Anyone who knows me knows the problems I’ve had with cell phone companies. Some of my worst days have been spent in Bell, a company with no compassion that has a hard time getting anything done. Cell phone companies in general seem to be one of the most frustrating services we all have to deal with. As a teenager I’ve found my peers and I have faced some of the same common issues. They aren’t friendly to us teenagers who are constantly getting our phones stolen, broken or lost and lets face it, it happens to everyone at some point. Warranties also seem to almost never fix our damaged phones which occasionally die from overuse. Not only that, bills are not budget friendly either. I’m a teenager who doesn’t pay for my own cell phone bill but tons of people my age have to and cell phone companies make it very, very hard for them with the under 18 contracts and prices. The option of no contracts prepaid phones doesn’t always work with the risk of minuets running out and being left stranded. The price of text messaging without a plan is also INSANE. With the lives teenagers now live it can be frustrating and at times dangerous to be caught without a cell. Without the option of getting rid of our phones we really only can ask for change in the way things work.

Without even the stress of actually paying the bill, I’m already fed up with Bell, Rogers and Telus, Canada’s three major cell phone companies. I’ve been very interested in how the way everything is run changing. This article on Orato.com gave me a lot of information on cell phone companies in Canada that I hadn't previously known. This article provides great information on the industry in Canada as well as how we compare around the world. It also sums up the fact that things in the Canada's cell phone world will hopefully be changing.

http://www.mycellphonemyterms.com is a website that will bring you the best cell phone rate deals as opposed to you going to the dealer and asking for them. I honestly think this is a great idea and will be interested in finding out how the company does on an episode of my current addiction, The Dragons Den (Wed, Oct 21st) this season. If anything, I think this website shows theirs always a way around the system and I’ll support anything that will bring my cell bill down!

BB cream review Lioele

Posted on 14:10 by Unknown

I ordered my first BB cream after hearing such great things about them. I got mine off ebay and the seller shipped it very fast which surprised me. BB cream is basically foundation that targets specific skin problems, like acne, wrinkles, ect. I ordered the Lioele cream as my first try becuase I had seen someone do a tutorial with it and their skin looked flawless! That and the packaging is so pretty and princess like, I couldn't resist. The bigged problem with this product was I love it as much as I hate it.

The good
-Good coverage for a bb cream. Covers imperfections, ect
-Didn't make me breakout, maybe made my skin a bit better?
-I don't have much of a problem with this but I've heard from others this has great oil control
-Its not shiny but its not completely matte (I like dewy looks to be honest though)

Bad
- The colour turns really red and darker on me over time instead of adjusting to my skin tone. This is by far the worst part!
- Feels chalky and drying when putting it on
- I have to use a few pumps because its so drying
- Isn't the best for dry skin which is what I have

I'm so confused on what to do with this product, I want to use it because its so pretty and gives me what I want from a foundation but I don't want to have a different color face!
I'm still convinced BB cream could be better then foundation (I'm probly just excited because its all pretty new too me), so I want to try a bunch more out! What's your favorite kind of BB cream?

Twilight beauty presale and website launch tonight only!

Posted on 21:13 by Unknown

Again, I'm not the bigged Twilight fan. Liked the books not so much the movie but I was very excited to see the high end makeup line they were launching. The line was launched by three respected makeup industry women and I expected a lot more from it then what I see on the site. I was shocked by the lack of foundations, concealors, powders, blushes and eyeliners which you would think would be something they would have made! I feel like the majority of the products are geared towards older makeup junkies (the makeup palates especially) and not the typical products I see most twihards wearing (the massive liquid liner over crazy intense eyeshadow)

The one thing I am interested in though is the pigments for only $9.00. Sadly, they are not shipping to Canada for the pre-sale from what I saw. Does this mean they never will?
www.twilightbeauty.com

If you are interested in ordering from the presale you better hurry up as it only lasts until tomorrow.
How about you? What are your thoughts on the collection from the site?

Best affordable leave ins for dry, damaged hair

Posted on 12:11 by Unknown
I'm back with more of my damaged, dry hair care series and today I'm going to tell you guys about my favorite leave in conditioner type products that wont break the bank! Note that I use these before a shine serum to try and seal in the moisture.

Cholesterol (sounds gross, huh?)
First up is a product many people would never look at or think of. For 1.79!! (and cheaper with a sallys card!) this is one of the most versatile products for someone in a war with their very over processed hair.

From the site: Proclaim Cream Cholesterol reduces combing friction, brittleness and loss of damaged hair.
  • For really dull and lifeless hair.
  • Specially formulated with aloe vera.
  • Moisturizes with an extra rich formula.
  • Leaves hair soft and smooth.
This special formula contains Aloe Vera for extra moisture and shine. Strengthens hair to reduce breakage and treat split ends. This is an extra rich formula that will bathe your hair with essential moisture properties and leave you with soft, combable hair that shines.
Why it is an amazing product: This product is amazing because it puts back the moisture and things in your hair that a drugstore treatment never will. This is for severly damaged hair and when used out of the shower it can make hair greasy if you use too much. Keep in mind though, I had to use A LOT of this on my bangs when they were damaged and brittle beyond repair and I was happy to have something to weigh it down with!

How to use: I recommend using this in the shower for a few minuets before a conditioner with lots of silicone (like the ones I previously reviewed). That way you'll be getting instantly luscious hair and actually repairing it at the same time! It is also good to use a bit of this on your hair once you get out of the shower too eliminate fizz and keep hair moisturized. Lastly, you can also use this as a styling product when you need to weigh down your hair!

Pantene Nature Fusion Smooth Vitality Smoothing Creme

I purchased this product on sale for around $4.99. Although it claims to be a creme, I really look at it as more of a leave on conditioner. The reason I choose this as one of my favorite affordable leave in's is because it reminds me so much of my favorite more expensive leave in AG's Fastfood. This formula puts back the softness and smoothness you loose when washing conditioner out of your hair and is extremely light weight. This is definitely great for anyone who is looking for soft hair, not just for people with damaged hair!

Please tell me if these products work for you too in the comments!

My favourite affordable quick fix conditioners for Dry, Frizzy, Course and Damaged hair !!

Posted on 15:05 by Unknown
Hair care can be very expensive for those of us who are not gifted with luscious, silky locks or for the ones who damaged the life out of them! It's bad enough we have to spend hundreds on a quality straightener to tame our hair.
Here is a list of what is quite possibly the ONLY drugstore conditioners I can even use in my hair. They are thick and intensively moisturizing which is exactly what curley, frizzy, wavy, course and/or damaged hair needs!

Somethings to keep in mind....
-Conditioners and shine serums targeted towards black people are VERY good products for what you need and most often very affordable and avalible in drug stores
-Also look any products with Olive oil as they are great.

The best for price and smoothness goes too..

Aussie's 3 minuet miracle is really great. Its not the best for long term repair but for instant softness this is the go to conditioner. Not to mention its only around $3.00 for a bottle! I love
this stuff because I don't have to worry about using a lot of it and it is just so great!

Another alternative to the Aussie 3 minuet miracle treatment is the Pantene Pro-V Fortifying Treatment. A bit more money then the Aussie treatment but still has the same great benefits. I would reccomend switcing between these two so your hair doesn't get completly used to one.

Overall, I find these two conditioners much better then the majority of expensive salon treatments and masks.

Coming up I'm going to do my recommendations for hair serums, the best conditioners/treatments for really getting your hair back to being healthy overtime and my all time favorite basically Holy Grail material treatment.

Post your favorite conditioners in the comments!

Tips for curly hair/damaged hair and plaitnum blondes

Posted on 18:47 by Unknown
The blogging world is full of an exciting land of makeup reviews and advice but it makes me wonder why the world of hair hasn't caught on yet? As important as your face looking lovely is, if your hair is a total mess then no ones even going to look at it! I've decided after years of struggle, I'm going to attempt to do more posts to help the women suffering through damaged and/or frizzy ,thick dry hair.

My hair has ALWAYS frustrated me, every since grade four I've wanted pure platinum blonde, long hair. I killed it by bleaching my course, thick but strong hair hundreds of times now. I'm lucky that my hair is as strong as it is though. I think one of the biggest problems with people who have curly hair is that their just isn't enough information on how to maintain it out their. Not everyone with curly hair is able to just scruntch their hair with some mousse and have perfect curls. One thing alot of people with curly hair also don't realize is that the size and shapes of the curls can be completely different on sections of the head. I've noticed with my hair that the lower half of my hair is really small and wavy curls while the top is more frizzier and not as curly.

I'm going to start by helping you guys out with some hair Myths and crutal tips I've picked up over the last few years.

- Trimming your ends does NOT make your hair grow longer. It just helps it from getting more damaged but you still need to do this if you want your hair to grow healthy.

-Blow drying your hair straight is much more damaging then straightening it. This is becuase the tugging force from the brush causes much more breakage.

-Hair care is like skincare, their are different types and nothing will work for everyone.

-If your bleaching your hair blonde, you really need to keep up on your routes every 2-4 weeks to prevent futher damage. This is becuase hair at the roots bleaches faster then other hair from your body heat and will cause less damage the closer it is to the bleach. That also means right at the root will be lighter then the other half of your roots so bleach it quick!

I'm going to post some hair product reviews asap! Please post your favorite hair tips in the comments as well as any of your favourite hair care blogs! I want to find some good ones!

New find for deco parts!

Posted on 15:29 by Unknown
I just wanted to share with everyone another place I've found for deco parts. Its hard to tell exactly what they offer from the small pictures but Sasa.com seems to have some good deco kits for sale.

For $7.50 USD Sasa.com offers a cheaper alternative to Strapya's kits which are more then double the price. I defiantly want to try some of them out! I wish you could tell what exactly was in them though.

Don't bother buying the individual peices off them. They are selling 3 lollipops for $5.00 which is insanely over priced.

Anyways check out the site for sure deco lovers!

The All Natural Face product reviews - vegan makeup

Posted on 13:53 by Unknown
I stumbled upon a message board praising the deals and good customer service offered by etsy seller theallnaturalface and had to order some to try it out. I haven't tried out a vegan makeup line before so it was another cool change. It seems this seller does most of their buisness in samples becuase she offers so many of them for a great price. I got something like 40 shadow samples, a full size eyeshadow/liner sealer, a bunch of foundation samples and blush and bronzer samples for $10.00 with $1.25 shipping to Canada. Considering that other people charge $5.00 for five eyeshadow samples of the same size this is a great deal. It also helps that the seller usually always thows in some freebie samples and helpful extras like mini brushes that reach well into the pigment samples.

(From left to right- liner/shadow sealant, foundation samples with mini kabuki, eyeshadow samples, blush samples, bronzer samples. Above is extra samples she included)

As for my reviews lets start off with the liner/shadow sealant. I didn't go for the primer on the site as I read all negative reviews of it. The liner/shadow sealant claims too be a natural alternative to keeping your eyeshadow and eyeliner smudge proof and in place all day. It also claims to give your eyeshadow a foiled look.

When I received the product I thought you just put it over the eyeshadow, which just ended up making the shadows staying power worse and automatically faded. So its kind of a bummer that you can't use it that way. To use it properly you dip your bush in it before the shadow which can get a bit messy. The one thing I'm unsure about is how watery it feels, it's almost feels like I'm just using water.

Pro's
-Makes the pigment look more dark and intense (but water could do this too?)
-Price- it was really cheap
-All natural
-Sanitary bottle

Con's
-Just like using water
-Doesn't help the smudging much
-A bit messy

The eyeshadow pigments samples

Here's the part I'm confused about, part of me wants to hate them but the price is just too good. Personally, I'm used to pigments that have intense sparkle and shine. These are pretty neutral and matte, which is a big change for me but would easily be favored by the more mature consumer. In a sense, I don't mind having some matte pigments because now I have a bunch of colors I would have never bought alone. Another Obvious great thing about them is you can get so many shades for such a small price. It's great for anyone who likes makeup to experiment with, you'll never feel like you don't have a colour. The worst part of these shadows is I find the pigment is just not strong enough to use on most colors dry and you NEED to use it with the sealent or atleast with a wet brush to get a noticeable color. The samples are enough to use more then a few times if used wet so don't worry about them being gone too fast.

(All of the shadow samples I got)

Pro's
-Tons for the price
-All natural
-Great for a makeup artist or someone who wants a lot of colors on hand to experiment with

Con's
-Used alone they aren't the best colour

As for the foundations I haven't had much of a chance to try them out but from trying them on my wrist I noticed at first they are a bit chalky but get better over time and do do a good job at neutralizing the discolorations.
(The 15 foundation samples)

(The extra freebies)
(Blush samples)
(Bronzer samples)

Overall I think this lines worth trying out! Who doesn't love getting things in the mail?
